Submitting Materials for Publication Consideration
If you are developing an assessment resource that may be appropriate for PAR, please contact us as early as possible in the development and/or writing process to determine our interest in publishing your instrument and to identify the ways we can assist you in shaping your project for greater potential success. A copy of your current vita should be included with any product submission.
All materials should be submitted as electronic files with accompanying hard copies.
The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association
, 5th edition, and
Presenting Your Findings: A Practical Guide for Creating Tables
(also published by the American Psychological Association), provide detailed guidelines for preparation of electronic files, format, style, and other essential information. Authors of testing instruments accepted for publication will receive a copy of the PAR guidelines for the preparation of electronic files and/or an outline of the required format for professional manuals.
If you have an idea for development of a new test, a book, or other assessment resource, we invite you to send us a description of the proposed materials.
